Life in Boyd
Whether you’re here for a lifetime or maybe just one night, Boyd has a lot to offer a weary soul.
After the storm, a rainbow on our residential streets
Geographically, we can’t be beat. Boyd is surrounded by a green sea of corn meaning that there is no chance for endless construction to come turning our small town into an urban jungle.
Within our own city limits we offer:
The Boyd Cafe, a delicious restaurant serving American classics such as cheeseburgers and boneless wings with golden sauce as well as delicious Sunday brunch buffets and the Norwegian classic, Klub.
The Boyd Liquor Store, a boisterous bar that hosts dart league and Buck league and plenty of drink specials. You can purchase pull tabs or join in on a game of billiards. An on & off sale store is also available for your convenience.
The Boyd House, a haunted house that you can stay for a night or two to ghost hunt.
The Boyd Legacy Gardens for those who enjoy beauty and nature and want to spend some time amongst the flowers in a gorgeous native conservation garden planted by our very own residents!
Dangerous curves, for those who want to stay out a little later for some adult entertainment featuring the areas finest dancers.
… and so much more including a gas station, a lumber yard, a laundromat with car wash, a Senior Citizen’s center, a frisbee golf course, a softball field, volleyball courts, a health clinic, a camping area, a community hall for hosting events and a Lutheran Church for those committed to professing their faith each Sunday. There’s a little bit for everyone in Boyd!
